U-PortalBETA

You're already building something worth billing for.

Run your UniFi service business from one portal.

The whole product, in six panels

A month in the life of a provider on U-Portal

01 · MONDAY, 9:04 AM

“Three customers still haven't mailed the check…”

Chasing payments is not a business model.

02 · SO YOU SWITCH

“Wait — my customers don't re-enter anything?”

Stripe imports your saved bank accounts as-is.

03 · PAPERWORK, DONE

“Signed it from my phone.”

Agreements and ACH forms are eSigned in the portal.

04 · THE 1ST OF THE MONTH

“…did we even do anything?”

The billing run drafts every active service automatically.

05 · 2:13 AM — SITE DOWN

“Ticket's already open. Tech is rolling.”

Live site tracking turns alerts into tickets and field updates.

06 · PAYDAY

“Same brand. Same schedule. More money.”

Funds land in your own Stripe account.

UniFi first — and every other service on the same invoice

UniFi network is natively integrated — live sites, devices and alerts flow into your branded portal. The rest are billed as recurring service plans on the same monthly ACH run, so nothing you sell has to live in another tool.

UniFi-only, by design

Built exclusively for UniFi installers.

There are hundreds of generic billing tools. Only U-Portal is purpose-built around the UniFi systems you install and the recurring service model you already sell. Your customers never see a UniFi invite, device SKU price, or Ubiquiti store link — they see your brand, your services, and your portal.

Switching is the easy part

Bring your entire ACH book with you — two ways, both end on autopay

“Here's the honest part: some processors hand your saved bank accounts over for free, and some charge a one-time fee for it — usually $250–$1,000. So we built both paths. Ask yours first, then pick.”

PATH A — Your processor hands the data over
Often free — sometimes $250–$1,000

Large gateway-style processors and card networks usually release stored bank data to Stripe at no charge. Smaller recurring-billing software vendors more often treat it as a paid, one-time export service — and a few won't release it at all.

  • Stripe contacts your current processor directly
  • Saved bank accounts and original mandate dates carry over
  • Zero customer action — drafts continue on schedule
  • Typically a couple of weeks end to end

Best when you have hundreds of auto-draft customers and the export is free.

PATH B — They charge, or refuse? Send links instead
$0 — included in your plan

Import your customer list (name, email, phone, address, monthly amount), then bulk-send every subscribed customer a personal secure link. They connect their own bank account on Stripe's hosted page — you never touch account numbers.

  • No processor fee, no waiting on a competitor
  • Automatic reminders at 3, 7 and 14 days
  • Live enrollment tracker: invited, opened, enrolled
  • Your logo and your wording on every email

Best for most small and mid-size providers — the fee is never worth it below a few hundred accounts.

Not sure which path is yours? Ask your current processor one question — “Do you release stored bank account data, and what does it cost?” — then start on whichever path fits. Both end in the same place.

Either way the funds land in your own Stripe account and your customers keep seeing your brand on every draft. Fees quoted by processors change over time — always confirm with yours directly.

Priced by UniFi automation depth, not by headcount

One flat monthly price per provider. Your customers pay you through your own Stripe account. Each tier adds deeper UniFi automation — not just a bigger customer cap.

Customers are never capped. Every plan bills unlimited customers; plans differ by automation depth, team seats and sites per customer. Beyond the included allowance, extra team seats and monitored UniFi devices are billed as usage instead of forcing an upgrade — $15 per extra seat / mo and $1 per monitored device / mo.

Start earning on Launch. Even the entry plan includes ACH and card payments, a live customer portal, invoicing and receipts, and field visit reports — so you can run real monthly revenue from month one. Higher plans add automation, branding and scale, never the basics.

See how much you could keep

Your plan fee is usually smaller than what card processing takes out of your monthly billing. Put in your own numbers.

How much ACH keeps in your pocket
Same invoices, same customers — only the payment rail changes. Cards cost 2.9% + $0.30 per charge; ACH debits cost 0.8% capped at $5.00.
Try a typical scenario:
Current: 100 customers × $100/mo
You invoice $10,000.00 every month.
If everyone pays by card
Processing fees
−$320.00
You receive
$9,680.00
If everyone pays by ACH
Processing fees
−$80.00
You receive
$9,920.00
+$240.00 more every month ($2,880.00 per year) simply by collecting with ACH instead of cards.

Fees shown are Stripe's standard US rates and are deducted before payout. This is why we bill our own subscription over ACH too — and why a card on file for your U-Portal plan carries a processing surcharge.
